This picture was taken in Dhaka, Bangldesh, during my trip last year, working for the NGO Friendship. These are called rickshaws, which is basically a tricycle designed to carry passengers in addition to the driver. They are now only seen in some areas of the old Dhaka city, as they have been banned in the capital.

Border of Bhutan & East Bengal India

This was taken while visiting a Tea Plantation in Bhutnan – these women are born onto the plantation – they will spend their whole lives here – working, living, even the small amount of edcuation they recive is on the plantation – the caste system of India lays out your destiny before you are even born.
