Fresh water

While working in a Tibetan camp in Darjeeling, India, on a cold day, I came across this little kid, who was about seven or eight years of age. He was getting fresh water for his family, and I was amazed to see how cleverly he rigged his way on the train tracks, making it easier for him to carry the buckets. This shot makes me think about all the things we people here in a developed country take for granted.

  1. This is an awesome photo. This was just taken in April? I am going to backpack through India in a few months, can’t wait.
